John and I spent Saturday gallery-hopping in the West Loop area of Chicago.

One of my favorite shows was this video installation Culte, by Rob Carter, at Ebersmoore. Anyone who knows my art tastes knows that I have a very low threshold for video, but this piece was really well done.

The stadium/cathedral element was made of paper, with living plant elements around it. The first shot here is actual sculpture on display in the gallery. The rest of the photos are stills shot of the full video installation, which spanned two walls. Spectacular.
