Last night we went to the Japan Center in S.F. to pick up some brush pens for JC’s current project. Then we enjoyed ramen noodles with pork belly for dinner, followed by a dessert snack of kushi dango dumplings. John didn’t like the gummy texture of the tri-colored balls, but they were right up my alley, filled with savory red-bean paste.

After, we hit the Cassel Goorin Gallery for the “Relics of the New World” show, mainly to see Lucien Shaprio‘s recycled creations—weapons, masks, and alters formed of cast-off things he collected. Pretty cool.
