Special Delivery


Yesterday, we went to see the closing hours of Special Delivery 2012 at the soon-to-be renovated Carbon Warehouse in Berkeley. This amazing mural-art project was presented by Endless Canvas and basically a showcase for Bay Area street/graffiti artists to enliven a decrepit location with the blessings of its owner.

It was all pretty overwhelming. I couldn’t begin to list all of the participating artists, but you can find out more about the show’s development and contributors here.

The building was filled with people milling around and shooting photos, like a hot, dirty museum. And the lighting was very dramatic. Here are some shots of the pieces and space:
